AnglerCatch is a collaborative effort between the RI Saltwater Anglers Association, the RI DEM and Harbor Light Software Inc. to electronically record catch & effort data through the use of a free application for cell phones and tablets.
The logbook features of AnglerCatch enhance your fishing experience by providing information on past fishing trips with live data such as lunar phases, water temperatures, baits used, and fishing catch & effort tracks.
You are in control of how much information that you log and share with fisheries managers. The goal of the program is to provide an additional source of data on the New England fishery that could be incorporated into stock assessments. Upload your catch and effort data to state managers to help close data gaps in recreational fishing.
